It’s the 100th anniversary of the start of World War One and my home town of Prestatyn has been very active with various events held in memory of those who took part between 1914 and 1918. The pop-up museum with a very realistic trench was so well done and must have taken a lot of research and hard work in preparation. Congratulations to everyone involved and to Rachael Astle (Prestatyn Town Council) for acquiring the vacant shop for the duration. I managed a quick visit on August 4th and here’s one of my photo’s taken in the trench. (Lit only by candles!)
